I believe that life is messy and heartbreaking, and ridiculously beautiful all at the same time. I believe that you were made for so much more than you are experiencing right now – more love, more joy, more effectiveness, more meaning and satisfaction. I believe that there is a voice of Love and Truth inside you that is calling you into living life to the full.
And I believe that I can help you right where you’re at, right now.
I use animal metaphors for my intuitive guidance practice because no matter how removed from nature we humans have become, there is something primal within us that recognizes and is drawn to the wisdom and teaching of the earth. Every religion seeks guidance from the plant and animal kingdoms, often projecting our own desired qualities onto the animals we observe. Perhaps we impose too much meaning upon basic evolutionary processes, but isn’t that what makes us human after all: looking for answers, reasons, and solutions in the complexity of our circumstances?
When you work with me, you will have the opportunity to nurture the Truth that has been planted in your heart, and to take hold of the bigger, brighter life you desire.
I believe that our liberation is wrapped up in each other’s. Layla Saad’s letters to spiritual white women (Part 1 and Part 2) were a huge wakeup call to me – convicting me to create meaningful distance from my practice and the typical spiritual white woman practice, rife with cultural appropriation and covert racism. Virginia Rosenberg’s Open Letter to Spiritual White Folks: Converting hidden spiritual racism into sacred activism is one of my templates for decolonizing my practice and staying aware of how my various majority privileges can oppress others, even in the name of spiritual expansion. I am a work in progress, learning to do better as I go.
So many of my clients are heart-deep in the work, and I’m so proud of them – and honored to offer support where I can. If you want help figuring out your voice for social justice, I am here for you. If you are unwilling to face this, then I need you to find another place to seek guidance.
Using a combination of animal folklore, ecology, intuitive writing, and my old-soul wisdom, professional training, and experience, I will weave together a message of hope, healing and helpful advice delivered right to your email inbox.
As I work to entirely decolonize my practice, I’m creating my own deck of animal facts and metaphors so as to avoid the pitfalls of cultural appropriation that this type of work too often sees. Right now, the animals are on a spinner app on my phone!
(If you’d like to see a brief example of how the animal metaphors play into my work, see this blog post.)
Note: I really do believe that metaphors hold a special kind of magic. Fairy tales, fables, parables all harness the magic of metaphor and analogy to unlock imaginations, illuminate reality, and guide right steps. I believe that the wisdom with which you resonate in the guidance I send has its source in a Truth much bigger than all of us – one that defies labels and definitions.
That’s why I’m comfortable being flexible with nomenclature for my clients’ sakes. My clients’ backgrounds are diverse: Christians, Pagans, Atheists, Skeptics, and Nones…and they all receive the same fruits of the messages I send: Goodness and Life.

Why “Wild Goose Guidance?”
It’s the name that came me in the early morning hours, right after I had decided to put myself out there and officially offer medicine card readings as a business. My mind was buzzing all night with entrepreneurial energy, but I still hadn’t landed on a name that I liked. I was awoken with the whispered answer and immediately was struck by its perfection. Early Celtic Christians referred to the Holy Spirit as the Wild Goose. The metaphor of the “Wild Goose chase” perfectly captures the unpredictable, elusive, and wild connection that I have with Spirit. My work is very much in partnership with the Wild Goose in whom I live and breathe and have my being.
